Purple Heart Family Support™, a Marine Parents initiative managed by donations and volunteers, provides Purple Heart and potential Purple Heart families with personal, web-based, and community resources designed to guide individuals and families through the road to recovery after their Marine is injured in combat. By providing fellowship, promoting networking and communication, and fostering healthy understandings of a Purple Heart recovery to both individuals and their communities, Purple Heart Family Support™ encourages a complete and healthy healing process for Marines and their families. Purple Heart Family Support™ members, through individual connecting and sharing and through program supporters who physically engage in Marine recovery, have access to a strong support system alleviating feelings of fear, confusion, anxiety, and anger which, in turn, provides them with a better way to support their Marine making recovery easier for all.
